Cosmetic Dental Bonding

Cosmetic dental bonding is a versatile and affordable way to improve the appearance of chipped teeth, stained teeth and gapped teeth. As one of the most conservative cosmetic dentistry treatments around, cosmetic dental bonding requires little to no prepping and preserves most of the natural tooth structure. And it's fast, too! Dental bonding usually takes just one visit to complete.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are an extraordinary blend of science and art. Made of titanium, dental implants are securely anchored into the jaw and serve as roots for dental crowns. In many cases, dental implants – and mini dental implants, the smaller version -- are considered the best option for replacing missing teeth. They are also used to replace dental bridges or partial dentures, or to provide support for dentures. Dental implants offer several advantages over other tooth replacement options. They look, feel and function just like real teeth! With dental implants, surrounding teeth are left untouched. Finally, dental implants are exceptionally reliable. Year after year, dental implants have had high success rates and typically last 15-20 years.

Single Tooth Implants

If you're missing a tooth and want the very best dentistry has to offer, you could be the perfect candidate for single-tooth implants. Single-tooth implants act as tooth roots for replacement teeth. They are securely anchored into the jaw and topped with a dental crown for the very best in look, feel and function. Single-tooth implants offer several advantages over other tooth replacement options, such as dental bridges and partial dentures. Surrounding teeth and the jawbone are better preserved. Single-tooth implants are also easier to clean. And they can also outlast bridges and dentures by about 10 years!

CEREC® Crowns

CEREC® Technology

Cerec 3D Bluecam offers the most  advanced CAD/CAM"one vist" crown, implant crown, veneers, and onlay tooth colored restorations possible, all with 6 micron accuracy. Dr Gregg Melfi DDS, one of the pioneer Cerec users in the Boston area, has nearly six years Cerec experience and over 3500 completed restorations to date.

How it works

CEREC® uses 3D scan technology to image teeth directly in the mouth. There are no gagging impressions, no temporary crowns, and no second needles needed… and it can all happen in one 90-minute appointment.

We now also have the new e.max in-office, oven-fired, all-porcelain crown that New York University studies show to be the strongest available crown material anywhere. It’s four times harder than lab porcelain-metal crowns, giving you the durability of gold without the unsightly appearance.

CEREC® can also image, correlate, and copy the exact shape and contours of an existing tooth or crown, assuring a return to normal bite. Also, whenever an existing partial denture, nightguard, or other appliance is present, we can use CEREC® to make a new crown so the original fit is unaltered, all without needing to take the partial denture from the patient and send it to a lab.

TMJ/TMD Treatment (new)

Does your jaw ever click, pop or grind while you’re eating, talking or yawning? While this may not feel like a serious condition, it’s usually caused by problems with the temporomandibular joint. If left untreated, this can develop into a painful and occasionally debilitating disorder known as temporomandibular joint disorder, or TMD.

TMD can cause headaches, dizziness, facial pain and tooth sensitivity. It can cause difficulty in chewing and opening your jaw, and can lead to other problems like jaw clenching. As your dental office, we want to help you maintain good oral health. If you’re experiencing jaw clicks, please call our office for an appointment today.

Dental Implant Restoration

It's almost impossible to feel confident when you smile if you're missing teeth. Cosmetic dental implants can change that. With cosmetic dental implants, you get the best in function and aesthetics. Cosmetic dental implants are securely anchored in the jaw bone for maximum comfort and durability. The replacement tooth, or dental crown, is made of tooth-colored porcelain so that your cosmetic dental implants look, feel and function just like your real teeth!
